SKILLS – BASICS OF COMPUTER

PP2

On the eve of Children’s Day 2018, our ISR® volunteer from Apeejay Surrendra Management Services – Debjiban Mukherjee – started a series of classes on basics of computer for six autistic youths, aged 15 – 28 years, under the aegis of Pratham Padakshep, a not-for-profit organization working for specially abled youths in Kolkata since 2012. Teaching autistic children is no easy task but our volunteer took up the challenge. Debjiban took the first class and taught them how to write their names and use bullets and numbering in MS Word. The class was held at the 2nd Floor Cafeteria of Apeejay House which was turned into a mini classroom using laptops, projector and white board.
