SKILLS – CREATIVE STORY TELLING

Our ISR® volunteer from Apeejay Tea – Sougata Mukhopadhay (Deputy Manager – Marketing) – conducted a creative storytelling session for seven visually impaired boys and girls, under the aegis of NGO Premasree, where he taught them how to use their imagination to tell stories. He began by telling them one half of a story and then invited them to finish the story. In the process, he showed them how one can put on their thinking hat and bring about a logical end to the stories. The children, aged 12 – 27 years, participated enthusiastically in the event and came up with interesting endings to the stories. Sougata conducts such sessions with underprivileged youths in his locality where he teaches them how to think logically using creative storytelling techniques.
